The Gippsland Theatre Festival is now accepting submissions of short plays (no longer than 20 minutes) for the Gippsland Theatre Festival Writer’s competition. All submissions must be original works that have not been produced. 1(one) winner will be selected and will receive the prize of $150.
Please include your name, the name of your play, email address, and contact details on the cover page. Please include a stamped self-addressed envelope if you would like your play to be returned.
Entry is on a voluntary basis. Plays are assessed anonymously please do not include your name or address on your script.
Submissions should be accompanied with a $15 non-refundable entry fee. The closing date for submissions is 15th July 2008.

Last years winner Daan Spijer, a hugely talented writer from Mt Eliza, will have his play called "Dealer Wins" produced in 2008. Dealer Wins tells the story of a man and those around him, dealing with his impending death.
